Mission
TRA is an international nonprofit federation that screens and certifies high quality national charities working to protect human rights and promote the liberty of all people. We present these charities to potential givers in fund drives at work and on the web.

TRA is a Human Rights group working for a democratic society and a system of justice for protecting universal human rights in world affairs in general
TRA is a network of individuals committed to strengthening advocacy on human rights situation all over the world and helping to develop greater capacity among refugees and discriminated group of peoples and minorities in the use of International Criminal Court (ICC), the Convention against Torture and other mechanisms that provide world victims avenues of and access to different systems of justice.
Mandate
To address and oppose the steady and systematic violations of Human Rights in countries where minority groups are in conflict with major Governments to bring a better vision for their position To employ the international avenues for bringing to justice those elements of the major governments who have committed violent crimes against the political prisoners and people who suffered due to injustice charges To work for the abolishment of capital punishment and to prevent the death sentence world wide
Objectives
Bring into focus the status of Human Rights in countries where violence exists. Participate in the ICC Ratification Campaign Promote awareness of the International Criminal Court and other international avenues to seek justice. Prepare legal cases and explore applicable international avenues such as International Criminal Court and Convention Against Torture for bringing to justice those who have committed crimes against humanity in countries violated human rights Promote awareness of world Community to seek the abolishment of capital punishment. TRA is a think tank concerned with improving management and public policy in the countries where injustice
History
The Centre for Thaumaturgy Relief Agency was formed in 2003 and is based in Washington DC.Two other branches are in New Jersey and Missisipi, one for East and Western Africa, the other for people in Middle East ,South East Asia, Latin America
Structure
The Centre has a Board of Trustees and is governed by an international Board of Directors.
Program
TRA's research areas are public policy, governance and democratization, and the international system and international diplomacy for human rights . The Centre runs seminars and training sessions international conferences and courses where and whenever required
Engaging NGOs, international agencies, donors and governments in approaches that incorporate protection mechanisms into multi-sectoral program planning, design and implementation;
Exploring the role for NGO participation in providing protection in the field with a particular focus on women, children and other vulnerable groups;
Expanding current thinking around protection, going beyond legal and physical protection, to include a focus on prevention and the reduction of emotional and social risk;
Examining the on-the-ground impact of current initiatives in the area of protection of internally displaced persons and the role of UN members governments and international agencies in these initiatives; Advocating for policies, funding and programming that address protection needs.
